Changes to the R/TRO Application Package are now in effect for the February 2010 Review and beyond.
Congratulations to all TRO members that have recently received their R/TRO designation. The number of R/TRO Professionals has increased to over 350.
Changes to the R/TRO Application Package affect Education Criteria and Professional Contributions. The changes to the education criteria are detailed here.
A reminder to all of those that currently have the R/TRO credential or future R/TRO candidates, that in order to maintain your R/TRO status, you must remain a R/TRO Professional Member in good standing with TRO.
As a response to input by TRO members, changes have been implemented into the Registration process. If you are currently CTRS, you are able to submit proof of your current TRO membership along with proof of your current CTRS and documentation to support at least 25 points with the professional contributions section to become R/TRO for half of the cost ($75).
Many have indicated that they would like an opportunity to have their R/TRO portfolio returned after becoming registered.
IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE: Please ensure you make a copy of your Application Package for your files, as successful Registration Portfolio Application Packages will not be returned unless you add a $15 administration fee to your application (see application form for details).
