Julie Laderoute and Natalie Gleadall, City of Kitchener
The Golf Fore Life program was created to provide a supportive and inclusive golf experience for persons living with dementia in the community. The program was designed to build on the existing strengths of each golfer so that they can continue to participate in a sport that they love, or in some cases, even get to return to a sport they had given up on or had left. Natalie Gleadall, Coordinator of the Golf Fore Life program and former Touring Professional, and Julie Laderoute, City of Kitchener staff, will present on the success of Golf Fore Life and how the program has encouraged active participation in sport for persons living with dementia.
This session has been approved for 1 professional contribution credit (PCC) point. Don't forget to purchase your PCC Transcript for the 2019-20 Webinar Series!
