Cracked: new light on dementia

Mohawk College is celebrating TR Awareness Month with a complimentary viewing of the film, Cracked: new light on dementia for its Recreation Therapy students on February 25 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Cracked: new light on dementia is an interactive production showing the journey of diagnosis of dementia to placement in long-term care and the effect this journey has on the family members.
The hour-long viewing will be followed by a one-hour Q&A session with Sherry Dupuis, professor in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies and the Co-Director of the Partnerships in Dementia Care Alliance at the University of Waterloo, who is one of the founders of this project. This event has been approved for PCC points.
