Professional

  • Currently practicing, supervising, educating, or on leave from the field of TR for a maximum of 3 years

  • OR a recent graduate from Therapeutic Recreation program (eligible for 1 year after convocation date), and

  • Does not hold the TRO designation.


Associate

  • Individuals who are interested in furthering the objectives of TRO and the TR profession, but are ineligible for an R/TRO Designation, Professional membership, or Student membership.


Student

  • Individuals who are pursuing a degree or diploma in Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation & Leisure Studies on a full-time basis.

  • NOTE: Students who attend a school that has an EIP with TRO receive a FREE student membership. Make sure to apply your schools’ code at checkout.

  • Recognized post-secondary education institution offering courses in Therapeutic Recreation

  • Includes free student memberships for all enrolled full-time students plus one faculty TRO membership.
