Private Practice in Therapeutic Recreation in Ontario: A Guide to Starting Your Own Small Business

Therapeutic Recreation Ontario is proud to present this digital publication, written by Tina Tytko-Ramm, BRLS (Hons.), R/TRO, CTRS, as a guide to starting your own small business. 

Tina Tytko-Ramm established Thrive Therapeutic Recreation, a private practice in 2017. She is a Registered Professional Member of Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (R/TRO). She is also a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC). Tina earned her Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure Studies, Therapeutic Recreation from Brock University, as well a Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation from Niagara College. She enjoyed being a part-time Professor at Niagara College in the Therapeutic Recreation Program from 2018 to 2020. Tina is currently working in healthcare as a Recreation Therapist, as well as working at her private practice, Thrive Therapeutic Recreation.
