What is a Community of Practice?

TRO’s purpose in developing a Research and Knowledge Mobilization Community of Practice (CoP) is to create a working space for TRO members who are interested in research and knowledge mobilization to collaborate on individual and/or shared research initiatives that seek to enhance the Therapeutic Recreation body of knowledge, share ideas, develop resources and be a resource to the board of directors.

The Communities of Practice meet virtually once every quarter. Meetings are led by a TRO Member but meetings are open to everyone and anyone to attend.
